Synopsis Red Dust Dreamer is a gripping graphic comic that explores the human cost of interplanetary ambition through the fictionalized account of a SpaceX-inspired mission to Mars. The story follows a visionary billionaire (clearly inspired by Elon Musk) who has sold humanity on his dream of making humans a multi-planetary species. The narrative begins with the launch of the historic mission, capturing the excitement and hope surrounding this monumental endeavor. As the spacecraft approaches Mars, disaster strikes when micrometeorite damage and system failures leave the crew stranded in orbit with insufficient fuel to either land safely or return to Earth. The crew lands on Mars successfully but becomes the planet's first inhabitants with no clear path home.
